Wisdom Teeth Removal

Removal of wisdom teeth is a very common procedure. Most people have 4 wisdom teeth which become wedged/impacted if there is not enough space in the jaw.

They can cause INFECTION, CROWDING, PAIN, CYST, ULCER, FOOD TRAP and DECAY.

An OPG is recommended and a referral is made to the specialist if required.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are artificial tooth roots used to replace missing teeth, placed in the jawbone and topped with a crown matching surrounding teeth. They can replace single or multiple teeth using bridges or implant-supported dentures. Maintenance involves regular oral care, and they offer advantages like natural appearance and independent care. Not everyone is eligible due to factors like bone density, medical conditions, and smoking. Alternatives like dentures or bridges are available, each with their own pros and cons.
